How the BMI Calculator Works
BMI is a simple way to understand your weight relative to your height.
- If you use kilograms and meters, BMI is calculated by dividing your weight (kg) by the square of your height in meters.
- If you use pounds and inches, BMI is calculated by multiplying your weight (lb) by 703 and then dividing by the square of your height in inches.
